What to order from the florist for dinner parties this week: Blue salvia, zinna in hot summer shades, and colombine, among others.
Here in Middleburg we are lucky to have a florist who grows her own colombine. Just ask a few questions of the local flower purveyors and you may find a resource for something new, easily had, and beautiful.

There is something about Columbine too isn't there? I have a couple colors of it but one that is the most brilliant, clear purple.

We have a local grower here as well. I go every weekend and have him put together some flowers for me and he does lovely work. I hope to get back up to your area soon!
