What I will think of first

Last week, I sat for a bit with the elegant beauty behind the blog community's beloved PVE. Patricia van Essche is everything her picture suggests. But it was her generous, gracious, and tireless kindness to my eleven- month-old Daughter which I will think of first. How do you properly thank a person who endured wiggling, kicking, snorting, laughing, and mashed banana in order to visit with us?

Possibly I can repay her kindness and patience by noting something you may not have known about her: I learned more from watching PVE with my little girl than I have learned from legions of mothers on the playground.

Pleased to meet you, Patricia. Here is to you, and all successful mothers of your extraordinary caliber.

The honor and the privilege was indeed all mine.
All children deserve the right to be treated with love and kindness. Just think if all the world acted accordingly, therefore, we as mothers must spread random acts of kindness and teach our children to be
civilized, cordial, creative and courageous.
Your daughter is a wonderful and willful child. I will be interested to see how she grows under your tutelage. Thank you for your kind words and your gift for extraordinary verbosity.

Oh how I wish I'd been there. Two of my favorites in one room.

PVE - thank you very kindly. Humbled indeed.

Mrs. B. - I would have felt very much the same had I been able to sit with you and she, fingers crossed one of these days...

SP - PVE and I are only about 15 miles apart some of the year, it was more just to finally meet her after these few years, I wish it had not taken me so very long but I had two babies in the intervening years.

Karena - Indeed, she has been friend to all who approached, a remarkable talent.

A&A - we were just hanging out with mashed banana's on our clothes taking of haute couture and places far away...

MT - indeed, PVE's natural inclination is apparent in both word and deed.
