Well read Hostess: Something for everyone

Here I have a request from a Blushing reader asking if I would share any new blog reads I am enjoying. A good hostess aims to please...

I am always visiting Eddie Ross: Everything on his site is beautiful he has enough confidence with his subject matter to convince me I can create at his level, which is sheer folly, I promise you. Eddie has a fabulous spread in Real Simple this month, be sure to check it out. Somehow, my invites to his fabulous porch lunches keep getting lost in the mail!

This magnificently beautiful new French magablog, L'Esprit d'Sud is gorgeous. Like the Martha and Donna Hay of France, only a little more fun.

As you may have guessed, I follow the perfume market pretty closely (read as: following and sniffing around perfume chemists as they go to church on Sundays) and while I think this blog covers really bad perfumes with equal fairness and I cannot for the life of me understand why, I do appreciate the tips and thoughts with regard to great perfumes and colognes at The Scented Salamander. There is a great Index of New Scents which keeps me in the know.

The Party Dress is a girl with great fun on her mind and a blog as well-dressed as I imagine her to be.

For interiors and great style posts from a swank 20-something in my former town of Boston, I would like to introduce you to Everything LEB, she is big already with good reason, and her blog will be an all-out home run in no time. Get there now so you can remind her you knew her when.

In the swank and brilliant gentleman's club: To The Manner Born, who, I am thrilled to announce, will round out The Sexy Hostess guest series here at Blushing Hostess.

For a great hammer-and-nail renovation blog check out Adventures in Renovating a Brooklyn Limestone.

And you already know how we love our pretty Layla over at The Lettered Cottage. Come on, who does not love that girl?

And from the heavy hitters club: House of Beauty and Culture which is brilliant and sharply focused. In this incarnation and last, it has been nothing but an education for me.

In that same club and not at all least: Little Augury, a thought-provoking blog manifestation of one talented woman's musings and a bright light on this new frontier of ours.

I hope each of you find a new great voice in this group. To each his or her own. Please enjoy and feedback to me on what you loved, okay, Pals?

Now then, will you fill me in on your new reads in the Comments below because I am a perfectly shameless over-subscriber? Thanks a million!
