Host style: I fell in love with a duck
In the fall of 2009, this men's boot hit my radar. I thought, so, we'll see. Then, Duckie Brown for Florsheim had a season like this:
Then came this most recent fashion show at Duckie Brown. I became hopelessly entranced by the pebbled leather boots, the nod to the paddock boot, and the hip way Duckie is kicking it old-school with Florsheim (yes, Florsheim, my Grandpa just rolled over). I am trying not to gush: There are reasons to hold back, the clothing -was there any? Who even knows.
But look, I am in love with a duck who wears boots and we should go forward with that understanding.

Fun, fun, classic design and love seeing them om the runway!
Those are pretty darn cool.
I'm crazy about these boots. I like looking at men's shoes as much as women's. Superb craftsmanship. There is (was?) a men's shoe store on Christopher St. that just blew me away. I can't recall the name. The shoes were works of art.

Do they come in salmon?
Suddenly, I am cattapulted back to my teens and the lust over a pair of similiarly crafted boots that I adored. Boots have a way of doing that, they just quack, quack til we break down and give in.
Buy those bad boy boots. I can live vicariously, can't I.
Did I see you today in the neighborhood at the gas station? Looked like you?

Karena, LPC, Clapping - Agreed! And Tintin might know about the place you mention on Christopher...
Tintin - teal.
PVE - indeed, I should get to watch him wear them at the very least. It was not me, unfortunately, I wish, I am in Middleburg at the moment far far far from humanity and missing it...
The trousers seem a bit short.
