A Christmas appeal
As time has passed and I have penned this blog, I've tried not to ask anything in return from the readership, but I need you now.
I have a stack of emails here asking for addresses to send cards and gifts to Blushing for the holidays and while I thank you for this remarkable thoughtfulness, the help we really need this year is mercy.
This is my beautiful friend, Sue.
Sometimes, the knowledge that the whole world is coming to your aide is the difference between hopelessness and invincible strength. If everyone within the reach of this site can consider their faith, gifts, time, and talents and do something to help, I will be forever in your debt.
In answer to your questions: Sue. That's what I'd like for Christmas.

I don't know who you are but I stumbled upon your blog today as the name captured my interest. I love your blog. I read the comments about your friend and went to her website. It broke my heart to see her with her family. My best friend Nick lost her mom this past February to the same kind of cancer. Your friend is lucky to have someone like you support her. I use to live in Boston and I'm from CT originally living in La La land where manners and etiquette don't exist. I think you are a generous friend and it's my honor to donate. It wasn't huge but I do hope in some small way it will help. She's lucky to have you.
And I in turn, am blessed to have readers like you, Peggy. from our thoughts to his ears... Thank you so very much for your help, forever in your debt.
Happy to do it. Here's to a better 2010 for Suzanne and her family.
