Anyone associated with Jackie's style and hosting is good enough for me! If I don't win, I just may buy this book anyway!

I was a young teen when Jackie entered center stage and I was so taken her classy style. Her presence was a breath of fresh air and I was so sad when she passed away. Right to the end she lived with dignity and a joi de vivre. Her life was not easy; she endured many losses, but she always conducted herself with great strength and dignity. I think that she was a great mother to John Jr. and Caroline, and I have no doubt that she adored Caroline's children. Some people underestimated her, but she was very intelligent and proved to be an accomplished editor and untiring champion of the preservation of many historical landmarks. Sorry for going on so, but I really would have loved to meet her.

Sue.

Thank goodness for Letitia Baldridge for reminding us that while money is nice, manners and style are better - things that seem at times to be seriously lacking in society these days. I have several of her books and I have always found them enjoyable and inspiring - I feel certain that she will not disappoint this time!

30 years ago she hired me for one of my favorite jobs ever! My "job";( and it actually paid very well); was to give away "Wyberova" vodka!

She had a successful pr firm; and they hired "women who entertained beautifully"; to give this Polish vodka away to their friends and to Charity events.

My husband thought I was making it up until the crates of vodka and all sorts of other gifts started arriving!
The job lasted for a few years until the US stopped trading with Poland.
Later, I was a contributor to her book: How to Have a Great Social Life.
She is the best!!!
